In 2005, Espresso Dave’s became the go-to espresso bar service for major Hollywood movies being filmed in Boston and the New England region. Now known as “Barista to the Stars,” our first craft services gig was on the set of The Departed, starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson and Mark Wahlberg. The plot: An undercover cop and a mole in the police attempt to identify each other while infiltrating an Irish gang in South Boston.
